Getting to this unique waterfalls is a hike, about 2.4 miles round trip. The hike in is downhill or level for the most part, the hike out is just the opposite. Most of the hike is on forest service roads, and a few stream crossings, a little bushwacking, so come prepared to get your feet wet and/or muddy. The key to this waterfall is the small drainage area necessitates viewing after a few rainy days to appreciate its natural beauty. With rain in the forecast, it looks like Saturday will be a great time to see water pouring out of the hole in the rock that gives this very distinctive waterfall its name.
In addition to Tea Kettle, there is another waterfall in the immediate area, Reynolds Hollow Falls that can also be visited while in the area.

After returning to the parking area, the Glory B falls is a short drive a little farther to the Southeast (8 miles). It can be located here:

In addition to the waterfalls, the area is a wonderful spot for spring ephemerals, so be prepared for some spring color as well.
Warning: You might want to load any maps in your phone prior, the cell service in the area around these falls is very spotty.
Equipment to bring:
Camera, tripod, water bottle, trekking poles, snacks

Come and volunteer to be a greeter, editor or photographer. Your help is needed!
So that we can plan to ensure we have coverage all day, please select the role you are most interested in and if you can volunteer in the morning, afternoon or all day.
Help-Portrait is about GIVING the pictures, not taking them. Our goal? to connect families during the holidays with professional studio portraits that may bring a lifetime of joy. These family portraits aren’t for a portfolio, website, or for sale. It’s about giving people who otherwise couldn’t afford photography, a chance to capture a moment, a memory…and a whole lot more.
Each holiday season, PSNWA photographers have assisted the community from several shelters and non-profit groups get free group portraits with framed print and digital images, sponsored by PSNWA.
Please click the link below to list the role and time you can volunteer.
Greeters – greet the families and walk them through the process to the photographers and then editors, etc…
Photo Editor – edit the photos taken by the photographs and then print the images and put them in a frame and on a USB stick
Photographer – take pictures of the families
