Since the 19th falls on a Monday, we are celebrating on Saturday August 17th.The day is an unofficial holiday that allows people to honor the art of photography. Photographers that have a passion for the genre get together to share their approaches and thoughts with the rest of the globe. The day honors originality and intricacies in the world of photography. It’s an opportunity to encourage more individuals to pursue this style of art that has captivated the globe for decades.

Hope to see you there.

Host: Joe Sparks

Joe developed a passion for photography in the mid-1990s after inheriting a 35mm camera from his grandfather, blending this newfound interest with the rich experiences of his childhood spent moving across the U.S. His photography, influenced by the beauty he observed in places like Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana, focuses on capturing stormy clouds, mountains, and vast landscapes. He advises others to master their cameras, learn Photoshop, and experiment with unique angles.
