Join us for a presentation by photographer Amr El-Shafei. Amr’s photography spans the globe. His images are artistic and engaging.

Amr was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, it is very colorful place with deep history. I made my way to the US 20 years ago to finish is education and feel in love with the country. Amr has had a long interest in photography, however he proclaims “the addiction started 2004.”

Around 2004 Amr also began to extensively traveling internationally. Since then, he has been traveling to exotic locations and bringing back creative images. The list of places he has photographed is too long to mention. Not to be characterized solely as a travel photographer Amr says his “list of favorite photography genres is as long,” and he has “worked on learning all of them.” Amr has found that the skills he learned exploring the many styles and aspects of photography has helped to improve his creativity. He is also quick to recognize that photography is a skill that benefits from constant education stating that he still has “a lot to learn and more to see.”
