Photography by Moonlight

  •  August 25, 2018
     6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Learn to visualise how your images will look at night when taken with long exposures and high ISO.

The moon makes a great light source at night, but what you might not know is that many of the considerations you take into account during the day also apply when the sun goes down. When the moon is high in the sky, like the sun in the middle of the day, the light is harsher and colors are subdued. When the moon is low in the sky, the light is softer with scenes appearing nicely saturated.

Lecture at 6:30 p.m. followed by night photography session. You will be amazed how bright your photos can be when shooting using the moon light.
