PSNWA Monthly Competition
It is time to vote for your favorite images in the January PSNWA Online Photo Competition. Submit pictures (up to 3 per member) the first two weeks of the month, through the 15th, and then vote (up to 5 per member) for the images you like best the last two weeks of the month starting on the 16th.

Trains
January’s theme is Trains of all kinds – real or model. Top images will be displayed at the Great NWA Model Train Show in February at the Benton County Fairgrounds.

NWA Winter (Nature & Wildlife)
There are few places as beautiful as Northwest Arkansas. In the winter waterfalls freeze to create columns of ice, frost creates wonderful patterns on the windows, and the occasional snowfall blankets the forest. Show off your best images from this winter! Nature images entered may be selected for printing and display at Hobbs State Park Visitor Center or the Ozark Highlands Nature Center depending on the requirements of each host at the time.
Square Images
Photos in a square format can be very creative. Compose with a view to presenting the final image in 1×1 format. Tell a story through your best square pictures.
NWA Spring (Nature & Wildlife)
From waterfalls to wild flowers, it is time to show how great Northwest Arkansas can look in the Spring! Nature images entered may be selected for printing and display at Hobbs State Park Visitor Center or the Ozark Highlands Nature Center depending on the requirements of each host at the time.
Insects
Enter your best images featuring insects. Any insect should be the subject or part of the image subject. Opportunity to work on your macro skills.

NWA Summer (Nature & Wildlife)
Summer is always a great time to get out and take pictures around Northwest Arkansas. Enter your best images from this summer taken around Northwest Arkansas. Include our wildlife in your search. Nature images entered may be selected for printing and display at Hobbs State Park Visitor Center or the Ozark Highlands Nature Center depending on the requirements of each host at the time.
Wildlife
Northwest Arkansas has abundant wildlife that can create stunning photographs. Head to the woods and fields. Locate the elk later in the month while rutting.
NWA Autumn (Nature & Wildlife)
The Fall colors in Northwest Arkansas can be beautiful. Post your best images of fall foliage taken this year at locations around Northwest Arkansas! Look for wildlife in the midst of the color. Nature images entered may be selected for printing and display at Hobbs State Park Visitor Center or the Ozark Highlands Nature Center depending on the requirements of each host at the time.
Holiday
Enter your best holiday images – including lights, decorations, ornaments, snow, Santa or anything representing the holiday season.
Guidelines
Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas Members can submit three (3) photographs per month in this competition. Pictures can be submitted from the 1st through the 15th of each month. Voting on images will take place From the 16th through the end of the month. Each member will have the opportunity to vote for five (5) of their favorite photographs in the competition. One photographer will be selected as winner based on the total votes received and juried by the PSNWA Chairman for Photographic Competitions. The member with the winning image will receive a $25 Bedford Camera & Video gift certificate and will be displayed as the cover photo on the PSNWA Facebook page the following month. Images for some online competitions may be displayed at participating business sponsors around Northwest Arkansas post-competition and published online by PSNWA.
NOTE: Please do not enter an image with watermarks or has been entered in a previous PSNWA competition. Please check the spelling and capitalization in the Title of your photo. Your image should be between 1000 to 2000 pixels along the longest edge.
