One of the most interesting genres of photography is macro. Close up and macro photography is about seeing the world we pass everyday in a new way. Capturing the beauty, texture, and microscapes of nature doesn’t have to be expensive. During this class we will explore the equipment and techniques to take photographs from small objects such as flowers to the near microscopic such as grains of sand.

We will discuss exposure, camera stability, depth of field, and proper shutter release to ensure the best possible picture of the tiny world around us.
