7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A travel photographer, Jeff Sonnabend is also a hockey coach and intellectual property lawyer now living in Bentonville for the past two years. He describes his recent artistic endeavor as an online and in-print magazine focused on capturing the visual tapestry of the American identity.
This tradition of travel, reflection and personal storytelling was made famous by Robert Frank and his book the “Americans”, and was also the focus of the Open Road exhibit at Crystal Bridges recently.
Jeff travels, blogs and invites you to experience the Interstate Magazine.
During the talk, Jeff will describe his inspiration and methods for working in small cities and unlikely places like bowling alleys to capture a narrative as large as America itself.
Come join us for PSNWA’s General Meeting for the month of March and bring your questions on how to tell the story of your own backyard, neighborhood, or local backroads. It might just lead you to be a contributor to Interstate Magazine!
You can also check out Jeff’s work at http://www.jsonnabend.com/.
The discussion will begin at 7:00 pm.
