Canceled Dogwood Canyon Photo Tour – Elk & Fall Colors

  •  November 7, 2021
     9:00 am - 5:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

This has been canceled for November 7th.  Watch for more events to come.

The oldest event in the PSNWA calendar is Dogwood Canyon, Northeast of Eureka Springs on the Arkansas and Missouri border.

The first excursion was 2003 and every two years members have returned for this chartered tour featuring a PSNWA-only tram ride. Dogwood canyon is a private park featuring shear sides with seven waterfalls, wildlife including Elk, an artisan-fed stream with trout, a paved walking trail through the center of the canyon, a hand-built Amish covered bridge, and limestone-lined landscapes that make Dogwood Canyon a very unique nature photo opportunity.

Dogwood Canyon in Fall

9:00 a.m. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is open to early arrivals for the tram (coming before 9:00 a.m. will incur a “walkers fee” of $10 payable directly to the park.)

1:30 p.m. Photo Tram Boarding.  You will want to be there and ready to begin boarding as we will be leaving at 2pm.

2:00 p.m. Photo Tram (Ride through the park to the far reaches of the Canyon, along the way we will make stops at various locations to photograph waterfalls, Elk, and other great natural scenes.)

5:00 p.m. Depart Dogwood Canyon

This is a great event and back by popular demand! The fee must be paid in advance so that PSNWA can pay the park contract. The fee covers admission into the park beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the two-three hour photography-only tram ride to the outer reaches of the park plus a $10 gift card.
