What are photography competition judges looking for when they determine the top photographs in a competition? What are the criteria used and how can I make sure my image meets those criteria? How do I choose an image to enter into the competition? Have you asked yourself these questions? Then you need to take this class.
We will explore the 5 criteria used for judging a PSNWA print competition, those include Impact, Subject Matter/Creativity, Composition, Technical Mastery, & Print Presentation. Once you understand what each of these areas involve then you use this knowledge when crafting your competition images. We will also explore some of the many different types of competitions that occur every year. Competition are a great learning tool for your Photography Toolbox.
Upon completion of the class a short certification quiz will be administered for those wishing to volunteer as PSNWA competition judges.
Come a little early if you want to order food, the class will start at 7:00
