PSNWA’s partnership with Hobbs State Park has been expanded to include a photography-only bald eagle boating tour. To allow maximum opportunity for photography, the excursion will be limited to a group of 12 participants; however, we will repeat the event for additional members to attend.

The early morning hours often result in both mature and immature eagle sightings, in addition to migrating osprey, great blue herons, king fishers, deer, and red-tailed hawks. Please dress warmly and consider bringing your monopod (or bean bag) as the boat deck and canopy do not lend themselves to tripods with gimble mounts.
While sightings of eagles can never be guaranteed, in recent weeks eight eagles have been seen on an average boat tour.
The boat will leave promptly at 9:00AM. Please arrive early.
We meet at Rocky Branch Marina, about 25 minutes from the historical downtown of Rogers.
