Adobe Photoshop and Crystal Bridges “Open Road Photography Tour” with Sonia Davis Gutierrez (canceled event)

Photographers face many unique challenges in their profession. In addition to calming uncooperative ring bearers and producing photos beautiful enough to please the most demanding bridezilla, you also have to be skilled in the art of editing using Photoshop.  Today’s class will leave you with an understanding of how the tool can help you enhance your photographs and hopefully leave you with a desire to learn more.

One of the most interesting genres of photography is macro. Close up and macro photography is about seeing the world we pass everyday in a new way. Capturing the beauty, texture, and microscapes of nature doesn’t have to be expensive. During this class we will explore the equipment and techniques to take photographs from small objects such as flowers to the near microscopic such as grains of sand.

This is a short hour long class to prepare you for the Flowers in the Studio event. We will cover the basics of what you will need to know to successfully photograph flowers in the studio, including how to use the strobes, setting a custom white balance, and some unique tricks.
