Volunteer as a greeter, editor, photographer, photographer’s assistant, or supporter. We need your help!

Editing at Help PortraitHelp-Portrait is about GIVING the pictures, not taking them. Our goal? Connect families in need with professional studio portraits that may bring a lifetime of joy. These family portraits aren’t for a portfolio, website, or for sale. Help-Porait is a community project to help people who otherwise couldn’t afford family portraits, a chance to capture a moment, a memory…and a whole lot more.

For over 15 years each holiday season, Shilo Museum, Bedford Camera & Video, and dedicated volunteers have partnered with local nonprofits to offer free portraits, including prints and digital images, to those in need.

Help-Portrait NWA Needs Your Help
Greeters – welcome families and guide them through the process, from meeting the photographers to visiting the editors and assisting with questions.
Photo Editors – play a crucial role by preparing the images captured by the photographers. They finalize the images before providing a USB stick with the files, which can then be taken to Bedford Camera & Video for complimentary printing.
Photographers – capture portraits of families and children.
Photographers assistants – assist with posing families and working with children to ensure the best shots.
Supporter – even if you cant be there in person, you can help by donating to Help-Portrait NWA to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.
