Getting to this unique waterfalls is a hike, about 2.4 miles round trip. The hike in is downhill or level for the most part, the hike out is just the opposite. Most of the hike is on forest service roads, and a few stream crossings, a little bushwacking, so come prepared to get your feet wet and/or muddy. The key to this waterfall is the small drainage area necessitates viewing after a few rainy days to appreciate its natural beauty. With rain in the forecast, it looks like Saturday will be a great time to see water pouring out of the hole in the rock that gives this very distinctive waterfall its name.

In addition to Tea Kettle, there is another waterfall in the immediate area, Reynolds Hollow Falls that can also be visited while in the area.
