Join PSNWA for a presentation by Steven Hunter, a distinguished nature and wildlife photographer!
PSNWA is happy to feature a presentation by distinguished photographer Steven Hunter. An accomplished photographer, Steven is the author of 3 amazing books of images, “Mount Magazine, Looking for the Light, a Photographers Journey”, “Graced by the Light, the Cherokee Prairies”, “The Wichita Mountains, an Oklahoma Treasure”, and is currently working on a fourth book, “Let There be Light, Images of Oklahoma. His images highlight the beauty and wildlife from regions nearby.
Steven’s presentation, “Let There Be Light – Nature Photography by Steven Hunter” will be a beautiful program showcasing Steven’s nature photography images taken over the past twenty years with an emphasis on recent work. The images will encompass western Arkansas and all of Oklahoma. You will be treated to cloud-filled landscapes; beautiful and rare wildflowers; butterflies; evocative wildlife portraits; and colorful, amazing birds. Steven will share the stories behind many of the pictures during the program and will field questions afterward.
Steven is a talented photographer who states, “I prefer not to try to pinpoint the exact kind of nature photographer. I am equally at home taking macro shots or photographing landscapes, wildlife, and birds. Each requires its own set of skills, each is demanding, and each has its own set of rewards. I enjoy them all. Whatever the genre, the goal is excellence.”
Please make plans to join us Tuesday evening, Dec 6 at the Arvest Bank Community Meeting Room on the Bentonville Square. Just in time for the Holidays, Steven will have books available for sale and autographing.
